生い立ち

私はMAHAT ROSHANIと申します。ネパールで生まれ育ち、学校や大学もすべてネパールで学びました。
学びの中で得た知識だけでなく、人としての成長にもつながる大切な経験を積むことができたと思っています。

卒業後は監査法人に入り、約1年半ほど働きました。
ここでは会計の基礎だけでなく、細かなことにも気を配る力を身につけることができました。
その後、別の会社で会計担当として働きながら、お客様と直接やりとりする機会も増えました。
日々の仕事の中で、伝える力や信頼関係の築き方、柔軟に対応する大切さを学ぶことができました。

小さいころから、「もっと広い世界を見てみたい」「違う文化に触れてみたい」という思いがありました。
日本は、友人との話題にもよく出てくる憧れの国で、清潔さや人々の礼儀正しさ、文化の奥深さに強く惹かれていました。
実際に来てみると、子どもの頃に思い描いていた通りの素晴らしい国で、とても感動しました。

そして今、奄美での暮らしは、どこか自分の故郷と重なるような心地よさがあります。
町の静かでやさしい空気、人々のあたたかさに日々支えられ、安心して過ごすことができています。

My name is Roshani Mahat, and I’m from Nepal. I completed my schooling and university degree in Nepal, which gave me a strong foundation in both academics and personal development. After finishing my studies, I joined an audit firm, where I worked for one and a half years. During this time, I gained valuable insights into accounting practices and developed a strong attention to detail. Following that, I had the opportunity to work as an accountant at another firm, where I was able to interact directly with customers every day. This experience taught me a lot about communication, problem-solving, and building professional relationships.
Growing up, I was always curious about life and the world around me. I never wanted to settle for the ordinary, which is why I dreamed of exploring new places and cultures. My friends and I often talked about foreign countries, and Japan was a frequent topic of discussion. We would always admire how clean the country is, how humble and respectful the people are, and how unique its culture is. We would often dream of what it would be like to live in such a place. This curiosity and admiration for Japan led me to take the step of coming here, and I was amazed by how everything we had talked about as kids turned out to be true. The cleanliness, the politeness of people, and the general safety of the country were everything I had hoped for. As a woman living abroad, I feel incredibly safe and secure in Japan, which makes my experience even more rewarding.
Living and working here in Amami feels so much like being back home. The town has a similar peaceful vibe and warmth to my hometown, which immediately made me feel connected. The kindness of the people here only adds to the comfort I feel, making every day an enriching experience.

私は、新しいことを学ぶのが好きで、毎日を少しずつでも前に進めていけたらいいなと思いながら生きています。
どんな経験も、きっと何かを教えてくれる。そんな気持ちで日々を大切にしています。

誰かの笑顔を見るのが好きで、自分からも笑顔を届けたいと思っています。
ちょっとした声かけやしぐさが、誰かの心を明るくできると信じています。

違う文化や考え方に出会うのも大好きです。だからこそ、日本での生活や出会いに、毎日わくわくしています。
自分自身をより良くしていくことはもちろんですが、誰かの「楽しい」や「うれしい」にもつながるような関わりができたらと思っています。

やさしさと前向きな気持ちは、きっと周りにも伝わると信じています。

I am a person who loves to learn new things and constantly seeks growth in every aspect of life.
